Yes and no. The answer varies depending on the patron's status.
For student patrons or for faculty, staff, or spouse of faculty/staff the Library's policy is as follows:
Borrowing privileges will be suspended with 10 or more overdue items or $100.00 in unpaid fines. Fines will be sent to student/faculty account once a student as accrued $10.00 or more in fines.
For town patrons or special patrons and students the Library's policy is as follows:
Borrowing privileges will be suspended if a the patron has any overdue items or an outstanding fine.
Patrons are encouraged to renew any items as soon as possible to diminish fines.
