Yes, e-books can be accessed off campus. The majority of the Hutchins Library e-books are accessed via EBSCOhost. Therefore, students and faculty with a MyBerea username and password are able to access e-books anywhere on or off campus.
Search for books using BANC. When you select "connect to resource" it will take you to a page where you have to enter your username and password. Additionally, EBSCOhost may ask you to create an account in order to view the books.
You can also access our e-book collection via our electronic resources page. The link is attached below. Additionally, there is a video that gives instructions for searching EBSCOhost for e-books.
