LibGuides is a subject guide resource that Hutchins Library uses to group information and resources together for patron use. These can be reached via the Hutchins Library homepage (see link below) and provide sources to assist patrons with research. Hutchins Library has categorized most LibGuides with the corresponding educational subject such as History or Appalachian Studies. Some subjects will have multiple LibGuides that correlates with a specific course here at Berea College.
Different LibGuides have been created by different librarians and each are on a different subject. Therefore, all LibGuides are not identical. However, all LibGuides will contain call number ranges to search in the library collection, reference materials, electronic databases available through Hutchins Library, and links to related websites.
For more information on how to best use LibGuides, feel free to contact the Reference Desk at 1-859-985-3109 or stop by the desk in person.
