Yes you can.
After you have located a title of interest to you in our online catalog BANC, you should click on the blue hyperlinked title of the item to be taken to the brief record for it.
When viewing the brief record page, you will see a number of options at the top of the page, right under the word BANC.
One of the options is "Request" (it is the 4th option from the right) - select this option.
You will be prompted to enter your barcode number and your last name in order to place the hold. Your barcode number is the 10-digit number that appears above the barcode on your student id. After you enter this information, click "login"
You will next be asked to "Please Choose the Type of Request". You will choose "Hold" and then click "OK"
At this point you will be brought to a confirmation screen where you will be shown your reserve request and where you will be required to enter your barcode number again. After you do so, you will need to choose to "Submit Request"
You will then receive a message that states that "Your Patron Initiated Request was successful"
