Nearly all of the older census materials are housed in Special Collections & Archives. I searched the online catalog with keywords <census kentucky fayette> and did find one history of Fayette County in the reference collection (R 976.947 P458hr) and one title in the circulating collection (929.3769 L425f - Fayette County, Kentucky, 1810-1840 censuses, transcribed by Rowena Lawson, 1986). The remainder of what the patron wanted was located in Special Collections & Archives.
