You can use CREDO Reference and type some keywords to get some articles from various reference sources. If you have at least one word, say Ukraine, Europe, etc., you should get some results to browse and spark ideas.
You can also use CQ Researcher. Do similar to above for searching. CQ Researcher also has the option to "Browse Topics" (see the tab on top, to the left, hover over it, brings up the menu), so you don't even have to type. Simply browse and see what might spark and idea.
Finally, Lexis-Nexis has a small section on its front page on Hot Topics, which is based on current events (and changes based on world events, current affairs, so on) that can be browsed.
