There are no fines for overdue items for staff and faculty, if those items are owned by Hutchins Library. However overdue charges resulting from Interlibrary Loan items are billed at 50 cents per day and are the responsibility of the faculty/staff borrower.

For items owned by Hutchins Library, a lost item fee of $50.00 is assessed after an item is 21 days overdue. If the item is returned within 90 days of the lost item fee being paid, a $40.00 refund will be given (with $10.00 being assessed for late fines). Borrowing privileges will be suspended with ten or more overdue items or $100.00 in unpaid fees. Replacement costs for Interlibrary Loan materials is determined by the lending institution.
